If you'll learn how to read I didn't even said IS-2 is underpowered...I said that 2 well microed Panzers can deal with it...
@Porygon 415 games as Germans and 109 as Soviets...yep,you're totaly unbiased

And we are just going to assume the p4's have all the room they need to perform this little trick?

You don't need that much room to exploit IS-2 slow turret rotation.

Why would you drive your tank on the ice near IS-2?
I call that the essence of stupidity.

I'm talking skillful play you can watch on streams, not noob YOLO boom rushes over the ice against high explosive weapons.

Yes, good players know how to micro IS-2, but its not like they are fighting noobs who can't micro their NASCAR tanks.

If a soviet player can exploit P4s rotation by going in and out while occupying P4 with random infantry and going in and out for the shot with T34, then there is no reason why you can't do the same against IS-2. Obviously you won't want to occupy it with your regular infantry that is.

What if the IS-2 hide with TrueSight? :loco:

Good players made mistake too, they are not god. Hans just lost his SU85 1hitKO on ice by his opponent's TA last week.

Or just quit this theory crafting bullshit in every trolling crap you posted?

If its hidden, its not attacking so no problem.

I've seen that game with Hans, everyone makes mistakes, Hans knew it was bad idea to drive over ice, he didnt made it in time out of it.

And my "theorycrafting" is based mainly on games played by players like Cataclaw, Hans, Stephen and others on their level. They aren't gods or magicians and still can pull things like that on regular basis. Yes, they also make mistakes sometimes, but that doesn't erase what they did.

I don't have any issues with the IS-2 or atleast fighting against it. Yes it does wipe squads but that's rare for me. And really that's coh2 soldiers AI for blobbing instead of keeping their spacing. Plus I don't run up to an IS-2 with shreck pgrens, that's just idiotic as running up to a KV-8. Paks can penetrate it and damage it and can completely screw the IS-2 by using target weak point. Before you say, herp a derp, a pak gets killed in 1 to 2 shots. Yes that's true but I don't send a pak unsupported. I only do this if I have P4. If I have panthers, circling the is2 is pretty easy and you really should have no issues killing it since it has a slow ass reload speed and turret traverse speed..

Of course circling an IS2 is easy just as circling a SU85. But if the player goes backwards, the circling tactic breaks up and its not effective anymore vs a skilled player.

Just fix the goddamn squad AI blobbing for fuck's sake.

Then we can actually evaluate this more objectively.

Is it so hard for Relic to implement solid hitboxes so infantry can't clip into one another?

Tanks clip and phase through each other and you expect infantry not to?

I stopped using the IS2. Just an awful unit that begs to be called primary target. Can be countered with two shrek squads. Much power, so slow, dead, wow.

That all matters if the turret has stopped spinning. But hey, I hear stopping your infantry in front of a heavy tank is a valid tactic.

The IS-2 is not a bad tank by any stretch.
