if you can manage. ram the rear with a t34. It will destroy the gun 100% of the time (nonsensical, i know).

If you having a lot of issues getting to it then simply don't use tanks. Go back to basics with AT guns and maxims to cover them. eventually he will put less focus on the elephant since it will have nothing to shoot. that's when you use your chance to AT nade, artillery, precision strike it to kill it.
