I,ve been playing this game since beta but recently I had a Hd failure and had to re-download it off steam. Now whenever I try and run the game I get a windows message saying Company of Heroes 2 has stopped working. I have tried validating the cache but it hasn't helped. I'm running the latest graphic drivers for my card but i'm wondering if i've missed any other software to run the game I may have lost in the hard drive failure? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Go to your steam folder, and delete absolutely everything in there apart from the CoH2 exe. folder, and the SteamApps folder, make sure steam is completely exited before doing so.
Re-load steam, and it should work.
