1. Balancing patch for OP commanders, some unit nerfs, etc...
2. 1 or 2 new maps (probably very unbalanced for one faction or starting position
3. 4 new commanders of which one will be insanely OP and must have, 1 commander that is ridiculously OP and couple commanders that will be powerful but will be so overshadowed by other to commanders, no one will pay much attention to.
3. Something that should have been in the game from the launch, with a speech how great Relic is for delivering it
4. Promise of more great stuff to come in the future
5. Maybe random faction search? it's only been 6 months since launch, probably to early for that advanced feature.

Random faction search will probably come long after they have finished releasing OP commanders and the player base is too small to wait for a game on only one commander.

I have mixed feelings about this. I hope that it will be something really nice like a spectator mode but my brain tells me that it might as well be something as trivial as the option to search as a random faction.

I'm betting you all 5 MG42s with fire on the top that the only news is that more maps will be added in the near future. Including some old, well known converted ones.
My guess is also that new commanders are not going to be announced this way. They'll come out-of-sun as some offer for x-mas.
