Does T70's scouting mode outrange PAK's range?

It seems to increase the sight range to 50, which is the same as a sniper or scout car.
AT guns have a range of 60, so they can shoot the T70 before it can see the AT gun if the AT gun has a spotter.

But vet increases the sight range 
I play mostly 1v1 and my post are with 1v1 in mind.
