How do we make the ice look good ?

I have made a cool winter map, but the frozen water looks horrible, how can i texture the water so it looks good? Is it something to do with the ice editor? in that case, how on earth does the ice editor work?

what do you mean? i have all ready edit ice on terrain property.. so it is frozen.. but it looks horrible! Its just blank... looks more like a reflection from the sky..

Go to "Terrain Settings" under the "Scenario" tab and play around with the ice section.
I found it easier to load a relic map, I used the Winter version of Prypriat iirc, then copy the settings across:
