Imo it would helpful if older version of the game where available so my suggestion is that each time a version is released one creates a mod version of that patch that would remain available even when a new patch is released.

Good suggestions but everybody has access to the Essence Editor so you can also do this yourself as well.

I have made some modes but mainly for testing (I was part of the Alpha/beta team in coh2/western front).
I willing to share this idea with people who are more into modding so someone else can do this project more consistently.
Think it is a good idea since among other things it will probably allow "older" save files to be played.
If you are interested you can undertake this project.

I personally will not be modding in Coh3. The last time I played it, Coh3 had about the same amount of unpolished as one of my own mods. Seeing how many issues in Coh3 has, it gave me a renewal in modding in Coh2.
