Will playing past finish count towards stats?

If I wind-down kinda shoot stuff up past finish of the match, will that count towards stats? Meaning, if I want to know the stats for the match I should not continue playing?
My mommy always said there were no monsters - no real ones - but there are.

No. Pressing "Quit to main menu" will get you to the stats screen, regardless of game time.
