Did something happen to the Leaderboards?

Ok so, day before yesterday i was sure about being rank 600-700s and level 14 with Axis 2 people team with my mate and today i log in, actually lose a match, and see level 16 go and see player card and see rank 115, so my question is was there a purge of old accounts or something?
