try attack moving next time!

Thanks for the tip, in my mind i did that but when scrolling to the actual combat i saw the squads didnt stand still and had to manually attack them. pretty frustating as i lost a second of DPS there and that was decisive apperantly.

Lets just be honest, brits are just too OP so you will buy the DLC, its just business.

This might of been true when Brits first came out but a lot has changed since then. Alpha Brits were even more hilariously OP, and their commanders had a weird gimmick that was also really strong

I can definitely understand having that opinion at some point before, but it hasn't been true for a while to be honest

Please, help me to counter the brits

From what i understood from the pro forums is that you play AROUND the brits until pathers come online and u have a slight chance of winning.

How does one counter brits with OKW?

Sorry mate, but you got outplayed there.

There's nothing else to say. Your blob in red cover got outplayed by one well-placed nade. What did you expect, sudden win because of your blob?

You still won the engagement because they had to retreat. So yeah, not sure what you want. instant wipe?

I'm surprised that the section only lost like 2 models. Considering the each fg42 at range dose like 9.5 dps and there are 12 of them and with ra from both the upgrade and vet it's like 70 dps overall. I'm actually baffled as how the section only lost 2 models.

The damage appeared to have been spread among the remaining three models, rather than focusing single ones down. Part of it is also just luck, vetted Ass Sections have 0.64 RA, so some shots simply miss.

Had the guy A-moved rather than just rightclicking his blob around (onto red cover, lmao), and/or spread his infantry so they werent literally begging for a grenade he'd have easily killed the Assault Section. He didn't, though, and still expects the Fallschirmjager to have killed a squad in half a second for some reason.

Again, it still would have died in about another half-second if he didn't have the squads so close together that they could all simultaneously eat an WP grenade...and, y'know, he actually supported his infantry blob vs the Cromwell scuttling over.

I'm genuinely unsure why this particular example was chosen when trying to describe the Brits as OP, the guy is practically going out of his way to lose the fight.

Negative cover is totally OP's fault.

But AssIS can stand against 3 squad full upgraded vet Fall for that long is quite ridiculous.

Did I miss something about Fall nerf on DPS? Because when I played Allies, my infantry drop like ant when seeing Fall. 3 Fall would instant delete any squad that not Elite.

They endure approximately three seconds of fire from static Fallschirmjager, and are then at one third HP, that sounds about right, really.

Yes this, thank you, its REDICULOUS. 3 squads vet 2 falls manage to unload 2 mags each model, which is a total of 24 mags static.

These falls not only should wipe that squad, but also theire family, neighborhood and the whole universe.

Brits are just overpowered

Nah, I was referring to how unlucky your rng was. In usual circumstances that squad would have died in the blink of an eye.

Right....unlukcy, ok lets now try 3 assualt IS vs 1 fallschirmjager. Try it a 100 times a 100 times falls are dead in a second

Depends on range if the Ass Sections are charging in they would die no question. No matter how many times you do it.

And to make matters worse, the brits start with those terminator squads from second 1. Okw has absolutly nothing so say early game.

Brits vs OKW 2v2 is just broken, plain and simple. Make assIS 2 command points so its in line with shocks and falls, sounds fair no?

At 0cp, ass section are basically ass gren clone with similar weapons profile and worse default RA, and they are in a doctrine with no late game. Meanwhile okw stat with squad with 60+ close range dps and better Ra than most mainline.

Put ass sections at 2cp is fine, but dont forget to give them 4x Bar upgrade and put a crocodile in the end of that doc.

infantry section > volksgenadier
Well no shit Sherlock they cost more.

vickers > mg34
In terms of what actually??

assault infantry section > fallschirmjager
Not at every range

universal carrier > kubel
Yeah it need an upgrade that costs muni to do that.

mortar pit > infantry support gun
That is not even comparable

bofor > ....? schwerer?
Again not even comparable

infantry section artillery grenade > .....?
Panzer commander Arty comes close and is a whole lot stronger don't you think.

gammon bomb > .....? flame grenade for houses?

What about fking infiltration nades. And flame nade are better for houses stops people from using it for a while.

Assault infantry sections get their full durability at vet 2 which means they essentially reduce all incoming small arms damage output by 36% at this point(0.64 RA).

ON THE MOVE, Vet 2 FSJ FG42s will do 3 dps at max range, ~4dps at 20 meters and ~5 dps at 10 meters. This means that for the first portion of the engagement the IS are taking an average of 3.5 dps X 12(fsj models) X 0.64 recieved accuracy for the IS which comes out to only ~27dps. In other words it would take a full 3 seconds to kill a single model given this damage output and thats assuming every shot lands on one model.
If you look at the video though you'll note that by the time you order your FSJ to stop moving, they've already wasted a considerable amount of ammunition firing on the move and are forced to reload which delays the DPS boost you get from standing still. Once your FSJ do finally start firing again at the mid-close range they are now doing roughly 90 DPS against the section. Given roughly 2 seconds of on the move firing, an average of 2 seconds for each FSJ reload(actual reload is roughly 2.05 seconds) and another roughly 2 seconds of full mid-close range firing you should have done 250 damage give or take some based on range of individual squad members and me just ballparking the damage. Given that the assault section has 400 hp, it is perfectly reasonable you didn't wipe it.

Yes, the brit player got SLIGHTLY lucky in that your damage was spread out among the IS squad members instead of focusing on one or two models, but the numbers seem to add up.

As for IS being too strong too early- both sturmpios and assault grenadiers are superior initially to Assault sections. Assault grenadiers due to sprint, 5 models and having 0.95 RA while keeping roughly the same total dps. Sturmpioneers have superior dps at almost all ranges and a whopping 0.87 stock RA. Both Assault grenadiers and sturmpioneers are substantially more durable than stock 4man assault sections while having at least as much firepower.
