in my circle of friends hours played is a pretty good indicator of how good a player is in COH.

This may not be a good indication. The old loot drop system cause people to use a auto clicker to grind against ai thus inflating the hours.
I know my hours are inflated about 1000 hours from this.

I have 600 hours and I oscillate between 100 and 200 in random ranked 3v3 USF. I don't think hours logged is a good indicator.

I have about 3,300 but I would say at 1,500 of that is sitting menus or watching games in the spectate feature, plus I probably have hundreds of hours practicing build timings against AI in customs.
