Need advice on USF vs Ostheer Blob tactics

Hello,
Could someone please give me some tips on handling an Ostheer blob as USF. I was doing okay in this game. I held half of the map most of the time and it was going back and forth. I lost my Stuart in a stupid way by not paying attention.
I used a mortar to dislodge heavy machine guns from the houses. But than this ostwind shows up and the opponent starts blobbing around it with grenadiers and shreked panzer grenadiers and I didn't know what to do. My AT would die in the hands of this blob and I could only cap around it and avoid the fight. And then
the Tiger showed up and it was pretty much gg.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks
