I wouldn't really go with smaller maps in 3v3. Maps like ettelbruck station really suffer from arty spam. 2 games ago I was playing vs 2x OKW and 1x OST and 2 of them went for arty commanders. Safe to say that our base was getting constantly shelled. 3v3 definitely needs to be played on more open, larger maps like Fields of W, Express Balls, and the like. Angermunde is an all around bad map with lots of close quarters and buildings (favoring early MG/sturm spam). There are a couple of badly designed maps that favor one play style in 3v3 and 4v4 but it's mostly good.

It will come this year. Just got delayed. Which is acutally very good for the 1vs1 pool :)

Please re-enable Rzhev Summer for comp stomps. If you want to keep it out of automatch (understandable) then fine, but it was literally disabled in the lobby browser a few years ago and never turned back on. Some friends and I enjoy playing it and so we have it re-uploaded (private) on Workshop, but I think it should be added back into the live game. I'm not aware of any other maps being perma-deleted rather than just removed from rotation.


You mean its not in custom mod anymore? And yes it will not come to automatch anymore.
I assume because of some errors which lead to that resh sommmer was into automatch again, relic full removed it.

I will try to remember of this map when the patch comes.

when u add new maps, dont remove any maps, just add number of veto votes

that is not possible. It's hard coded about the amount of maps and vetos.

also some maps really need to be removed^^

Now all the new battle tested (ML) and very good maps (Emily Fields, Bayeux 2.0 etc) will probably be added when they wouldn't have been if the map patch hadn't been delayed. I do hope 2v2 gets some love too though. 3v3 and especially 4v4 map pools are already really good at the moment.

Well the patch was supposed to be released in June. We have June now and the maps are in a automatch-ready state. I don't see how postponing the patch to "this year" is going to help the situation. Considering this news and Sturmpanther's total lack of initiative in recent months/years I doubt any map patch is going to be released in the next months which is a disaster considering the 2v2 map pool for example hasn't had any new maps since the 2017 map contest. It's incredibly stale and it's really weird Relic doesn't seem to care about it at all.

There's a bunch of very good 2v2 maps that were shown off in Olvadi's cash games. I really hope they get a look in for the map patch.

I think this is in reference to the number of competitive 1v1 maps currently in the works - there are a lot, and many of them are shaping up very well. Just go to Whiteflash's CoH2 worldbuilder Discord
