Tried to pick up COH again, COH1 is fluid and not quite hard but COH2, I don't know.
It seems everything just goes wrong.
Micro is very sluggish, all commanders and OKW are like aliens to me, totally differenet from 3-4 years ago.
And the matchmaking system crazy enough to search like forever and get some top 100 opponents for me as a total noob.
Is it my problem or what?

That's because CoH1 has seen very little balancing and changes, while CoH2 is actually competitive and factions underwent changes that allowed for it.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

People complain the Soviets are useless.
Well, they are useless if you fight your units 1vs1. But they are all about Synergy.
What do I care if you have a Panther? Once you are crippled from running over a mine
I wait until you repair it with your 3x SturmPioneers and tell my 3x Mortars to fire at it.
did you know Vet 1 Mortars get FLARE?!
- 900 Manpower down the drain. - Panther still can't move worth a damn.
