One thing you don't want to see in CoH2 is your brand new Tiger that was supposed to give you decisive advantage, run into a T34 while on a frozen lake and sink right after taking the first shot. Painful as it might be, this led to very entertaining hour long nailbiter involving:
8 T34s
4 SU85s
5 Panzer IVs
3 Tigers
Countless AT guns
Several bombing runs (both soviet and german)
Vet 3 Panzergrens vs Vet 3 Shock troops
Quite a dramatic finale due to victory points getting to below 50

Now, that explains it all. You might prevail against Tigers or Panzers eventually, wife's a completely different story. No counter against that, no matter what tier you are.
