another example of how the LEIG is the only realistic counter to brit sim-city. As brace negates all alpha-strike units, the only way to brake them (once set up) is units that deal damage consistently; the LEIG is the only real option. With the range nerf, it is now hard countered by the Mortar pit.

Maybe smoke with the isg and then run in with 3 volks and use flamenade?
And well problem is 1vs1 vs 4vs4. If isg is better you can forget it in teamgames to play vs isg....

Right... have you watched the replay?
In the early game (depending on how well each player does of course) you can counter the mortar pit like that. After a while however, you have little chance if the other guy is good.

Yea, smoke seems as a good idea.
Except that once the smoke start wearing off/ falls badly on bofors/ enemy use attack ground command your 3 volks with flamenade will turn into piňata thanks to the bofors cannon

It may be possible but still you can see the gap at micro/skill requirement. And what is even worse it doesn't always works + you cannot sit on mechanised forever as he is rushing cromwell
