This game clearly shows that churchill is fine as is, maybe only needs buf to smoke canister ability.
Churchill isn´t used because of comet OP state, not because it´s weak itself

Campy affair. Churchills are good but useless against Panthers/Tigers which enter the field around the same time.

but a churchill is used as a true tank, hard to kill, takes on hits but it can't handle heavier tanks as good as comet, that's why it's good to have firefly as backup
