We are discussing the very specific subject of maps, and your very unhelpful attitude wrt them.

From where the Moderators and myself stood, it looked as if you loaded the gun and fired it as often as you could.

What possible satisfaction could you obtain from being so rude about mapmaking, other than to promote yourself as a first class troll?

I have to deal with fallout from people such as you, and i can assure you that many staff - (mapmakers/non-mapmakers) are sick.and.tired. of your kind of exploit, and the general negativity towarsds those who create.

I once said on Tric's stream that one of the maps looked like stalingrad, and he permabanned me and insulted me for 30 minutes on his stream, one of his mods said via whisper to me that tric was overreacting becuase of the 24 hour stream he was doing that day, and that I shoudlnt take it too seriously. 3 months later I signed up for his tournament and he was still mad about it, and YOU, bloodnok, removed me from the tourney. Btw, I already explained to you what happened via PM but you didnt even bother to reply.

I started about this particular thing in the shoutbox and it escalated, resulting in a ban for me and tric as well.

pretty ridiculous to label that situation as vonasten being exploiting and negativity towards those who create.

Day after day in the SB...I don't resile from that observation at all. Maybe you did it so frequently, you were unaware of your own spite?

Jesus man, this is complete bullshit again

There is nothing wrong to create revenue from stuff you enjoy doing without feeling entitled to request everyone to tickle your balls because you are creating content.

I don't think that is really fair. If Ami was after money in the way you describe, he would be out there every evening with other streamers, seeking subs, Twitch partnership etc...but he is not.

Da problem arises when you feel entitled to be supported by relic and get butthurt because your "contributing" is not "officially" recognized. That is de-facto da reason why majority of "contributors" leave.

He always aimed high, as you know. It was his vision to cast the game from a large studio, with a big audience.

I was only recently modded. #MVGame

Congrats upon your promotion! :D

I don't know the entire background, but broadly, what you write is correct.

What you don't mention, but should, is that your 'Stalingrad' refrain transferred itself to the SB and was repeated ad infinitum . Ofc it grated with him. He was asked by Relic to encourage certain kinds of maps - he told you all - and this was essentially CQC/industrial. As he often repeated, he was not there to create further 'Soviet Farmlands'

and YOU, bloodnok, removed me from the tourney. Btw, I already explained to you what happened via PM but you didnt even bother to reply.

Nothing hangs on this. I was asked to invis you from that tourney by the organiser, so I did. I also felt it fair you should know that this had occurred, so I PMd you, in order that there was no doubt.

I started about this particular thing in the shoutbox and it escalated, resulting in a ban for me and tric as well.

Neither of which I was involved in at the time, but it surely tells you the Moderators were watching and disapproved?

pretty ridiculous to label that situation as vonasten being exploiting and negativity towards those who create.

It may be embarassing for you now, but hopefully with hindsight, you would not go there again.

Well...actually it is not. I did not know you had been banned from the SB for this, until I read the earlier part of your post. :D

I never said Ami/anyone was after the money.

I am arguing dat relic will hardly ever/never comply if you start feeling entitled to request stuff from them after you have done some contributing. In most cases such "contributors" will get butthurt and leave.
On the flip side, those who provided content without issuing demands to relic have done far greater stuff for community and themselves.

He always aimed high, as you know. It was his vision to cast the game from a large studio, with a big audience.

...and dis exactly proves my point, it wasn't Ami dat got to cast a big tourney in a studio, but far less demanding community members who would have continued contributing even if they hadn't been selected.

Coming back to da original point about "contributors" leaving because of trolling. It is simply not da case, because if any of these "contributors" ever managed to make relic fulfill their demands, there would not be a thing on this world anyone could have said that would make such "contributors" leave, simple as dat.

I see your point, although I quibble with you that that they may done 'greater stuff'. But it has certainly been very helpful.

As you would expect frankly. They made their names on the back of the Relic support which Ami was seeking.

I must disagree with you here. I would not go so far as to say the contributors leave,...but they just close down and we have to coax them out again, with Moderator support, which will hopefully be harsher in future, since otherwise, trolls will have succeeeded in their negative behaviour and everybody suffers, bcs there is no new content...

If you want to continue this discussion, I will be happy to try and reply via PM. but we are nowe miles off topic, and I will have to close this thread, since it has nothing whatever to do with the OP! :D
