Since I know most people wouldn't believe the high skill thing: I managed to get into the top 25 1vs1 on the axis ladder near the beginning of vcoh, and I would say the other 3 players were of equal skill. So this does have good gameplay. No BS.
My partner and I didn't play as well the first 10 minutes and it was looking bad. After that we got our shit together and came back. Both sides built a lot of different units and used them together very effectively. Huge tank battles, especially a really cool one on the right between 5 T34s and 2 stugs, an ostwind, and a panther iirc.
I think this game epitomizes what coh2 is supposed to feel like.
