RedClownLips(327) v turbotortoise (1947)

Probablly my best ever game as Soviets. RedClownLips had me sweating from the start. 10% cooldown reduction on Kar98k's was brutal.

I didn't really know what I was doing with the maxim or shocks. I was playing on feel, not really thinking about what to do, only that flamers and molo's on La Gleize would be powerful. I think my main strength lied in staying mobile and harrasing, but that was really exhausting. If that's what it takes to play at a really high level, I really need to work on my concentration and "multitasking" the speed and focus I give to multiple squads around the map, but for now I'm very proud of the way I played this game.

As well, in retrospect, perhaps RCL made some aggressive mistakes which although I capitalized on, it did not identify them as such, for instance, the LMG's probably left him without any ammo for fausts. Again, I really played from feel. I would like to improve my situational awareness for the future. I also could of improved my micro in the final battle near the east muni point which, if gone another way may've really put me on the back foot, but again, happy with everything else.
