Please help me understand how I could win this - without perfect foresight obviously! (i.e. no 'IF you had only done this or that').

Be germans.... I mean...his play style is meant for the early win. Had you made 2 t-70's you could have beaten the stug and base raped all his assgrens and maybe won... but I've lost just like that but even worse.
I usually run into s mines as well... but yea it's tough. I've heard just making maxims can beat that strat though until the pgrens arrive.
