There's also a book I'm reading called The Greatest Battle by Andrew Nagorski, which goes into great detail of the battle for Moscow. I recommend it.

Thanks much for this! I bought the podcasts and started listening to them today. It really is a good start if you're interested in the history. Very well narrated and it does provide a great overview of the politics, military and also the human perspective. I can only recommend this!
