mTw Community Challenge #1

The mTw COH2 team is proud to once again announce another community event. The first in an on-going series of weekly community challenges where a small number of teams will get to clash with two mTw members for a chance to win some goodies. The mTw Community Challenge for Company of Heroes 2 will allow you to show us what you've got! The event kicks off on Sunday 23rd March at 17:00 GMT and runs every following Sunday at the same time unless specified otherwise. This week's juggernauts to beat will be Siberian & VonIvan.

A simple raffle will be held to determine the winning team(s) of the respective week and teams will be notified via Steam to confirm attendance so make sure you sign up with the correct details.

Rules and Event Settings

Single-Elimination
Best-of-three for all the games.
500 Victory Point, Standard Resources.
Fixed Positions ON.
Mirror matches are not allowed.
Mixed teams are not allowed.
Intel Bulletins are not allowed.
Commanders are all allowed.
Soviets always play on slots 1 & 2, Germans always play on slots 3 & 4.
Names: Player names must match the names presented in the sign up thread.
Faction Choice: A coin toss will determine who plays their desired faction first.
Tie (1-1 scenario): In the event of a tie, the Victory Points leader (the team which had the greater number of total Victory Points after the first 2 games) may choose their faction. Remember to take a note of the VP count at the end of each game.
1 minute rule: If there is a disconnection during the first 60 seconds, the game must be restarted.
No-shows: If a team does not show up within the first 10 minutes of the specified start time, they will be disqualified and a new team will be selected through a raffle on stream.

Live Games

The mTw COH2 team will be hosting a live playthrough of the games on the official mTw COH2 stream channel each Sunday at the specified start time.

Sign-ups are live with the Community Challenge Announcement. This event is open to all the teams of Company of Heroes 2.
