Thanks for the tips but I think your claim about the "Hollow charge" ability oneshotting an ambulance is wrong.

I looked up the stats and the "Hollow charge" ability seems to deal only 80 damage.

Sweet! I always thought those two were just two bad mortars. Just used them the wrong way.

Good job pointing this out. Will be trying this out soon.

Keep up the good work!!

Apologies, meant to write that it's effective against forward retreat points, including the ambulance not all that one shot jazz. (I blame Romeo, I heard it on his stream :D and added that thought last minute)Will fix, thanks for picking that up

Nice tips. I can see myself using those two the way you say they're not intended to be used (behind shotblockers, etc.)

Looking forward to giving them a shot :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I knew that you had to get them closer, but not that close :D

Two important differences between the guns: The Pack Howitzer has over twice the AoE (~113.1 vs ~50.27) and double the damage modifier for 'far' explosion distance (0.1 vs 0.05)

I asked RedxWings how to use them on his stream yesterday, he said "like a bad Mg that usually misses."

Ha ha ha. He spammed four IEGs like a boss and won.

In arty war between LeIG and 120mm mortar, does the LeIG stands a chance? Or should the LeIG just focus on firing inf and then move away after each barrage?

120mm is one of those "watch out" units.

Do not try to counterfire unless you have a direct bee line to the 120.

If your LEIG is forced to fire in that weird mortar like arc then don't engage a 120mm. Try to keep it in a range where it can still direct fire but it can also avoid fire from the 120. Hope that helps

Both guns are kings in open map like Crossing the woods, Lagreskaya and Angoville.
