Another neat little trick with houses is to wall off the doors with wire but in a way that allows the squad a small box to step out into. With the way houses work a squad will jump inside regardless if the doors are blocked but when they step out they will only move into the small box in front of the door.

A few things in there I didn't know. Being able to shift-click retreat is a useful one.

So units on attack-move will attack abandoned weapons? That seems a bit odd. Is attack-move actually a direct attack order for where you click, rather than a move order?

Artillery officer doubles the range of all artillery units, when you activate "coordinated barrage", so they can join the barrage, also you forgot to mention that STUG and Panther has the same range while in Hulldown :P

Soviet Propaganda Arty can suppress units in buildings for a half a second and make AT guns retreat if they are in a "moving stance", but if the gun is on the ground, they cant retreat

Nice guide, everyone should check it through. Few things here definitely I did not know.

It seems a bit retarded that schrecks give immune to cold for Volks, wtf is that shit? Like they are not good enough as it is? (Ok sorry for balance talk but that really is something that makes 0 sense.)

I might add my own tip for control groups:

I usually use CTRL 1 + 2 for my vehicles (tanks) or snipers in early game, CTRL 3 + 4 for my indirect fire (kat, mortars, arti) and 5+ for my AT guns.

Those are easy to learn and in heat of the battle it makes a lot more easier to micro my most important units.

With regards to seeing the building splat through fog of war, you could add that it's easy to tell which tier someone has built by selecting a unit and seeing via the 'movement dots' whether that area is accessible or not.

If the dots can not be placed on the splat then this means that the tier has been built. If the dots appear over the splat then there is no tier built.

Also to add to this, when you have winter maps you can build your buildings in deep snow. When you do this no dots will appear regardless of wether the tier was built or not

- If you are using AT mines from Infantry/Assault Engineers put them down in groups of 3 or 4. Debuffs don't apply with 5+ mines.

So putting more than 5 mines would be a downgrade ?

2-3 molotovs thrown at the same time can take down building (set on fire, will get destroyed later)

For OKW:

-Booby traps (from Obersoldaten, JLI etc) will not detonate if there is a friendly unit within the point zone. When an enemy unit is approaching the zone, keep a unit within the zone until the enemy unit is completely inside it. Then move your unit out and theres a good chance the booby trap will wipe the squad!
