So who here plays Red Orchestra 2 and who here has got Rising storm?
What do you think about it?
It's my go to game when I'm tired of either playing germans (simply by playing too many matches of them) or playing against strafe because I want to go heavy infantry.

It comes with it, but you are restricted to bolt action rifle class until you pay for it...you aren't even able to loot better weapons from dead guys!

I have both but dont play much coz the good servers are always full. But if you had pre-ordered RO2 like I did you get RS for free.

I just bought Rising Storm through the summer sale. I really like the game.I'm not too good at PC shooters though.
Once I picked up how the game works I started playing as a squad leader and had a lot of fun directing my team and spotting for artillery.
The asymmetrical play styles are also pretty cool.

You actually can loot. Haven't bought RS but I've been able to play around with the M1 Carbine, Type 100 and the American LMG.
(Haven't got a chance with the Carbine though)

Sigh... if only Relic was able to pull off what Tripwire did with Rising storm... That actually brought a lot of people into Red Orchestra 2. And it was actually complete!

I am looking to buy Rising Storm - I have some mates who play it and they say its good - but there is a steep learning curve - but once passed then its great fun.

If you've gone through the learning curve for Red Orchestra, you're fine for Rising Storm - it's the same stuff anyway with different toys.

yea but with ro2 they drove out there entire old commuinity pretty much.
Failure is always an option.

I really wish they added 'real' tank combat back into RO2 like they had in RO1. Rolling around in a Panther with your mate and annihilating whole teams of T-34s was awesome.
RO2 has become a great game though, and it's great fun to play (save perhaps apartments, fuck that map).
