Bug: Mortars not firing from inside trenches.

Complain: So much for fixed siege emplacements.

Fix: Nothing so far.

i must admit i haven't used mortars in trenches in quite a while but i thought they worked... that's pretty unfortunate though as that one of the of few potentially redeeming factors those things have.

must be something they're working on or its to op trench with mortar + infantry squad or mg team is pretty powerful alot of things have been rebalanced over the past couple of months so i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case

Not sure if this is a serious thread or not but I'm pretty sure in the Sept 3rd patch notes they said that Mortar teams can no longer be placed in trenches- so I think it's a conscious design on Relic's part.

(Not that that German turbo mortar really needs additional protection)

frankly the trench is often a deathtrap against any kind of aoe (like the 120mm) but it was cool to be able to stick a mortar in there. do raketen still fit?

To be fair, putting units in the trench was a death sentence since it did jack squat to protect them from the elements.

Shouldn't they? Garrisoning Raketens is a fairly decent part of their advantages.
