Company of Heroes 2 archive carsh when I hit the "build" button of the mod tools. Here's a screenshot of the problem:

Hello
Are you sure you did everything right before even starting working on your mod? I recommend checking out this tutorial made by Janne and see if you didn't forget anything.

I watched your attributes and icons tutorial on youtube. I've changed the portraits and the pioneer's icon exactly as you showed. After that I changed their model and their weapon.

The modbuilder and other such tools don't like any unfamiliar characters. It is always best to leave it in the simplest form of English possible.

Okay, I was able to build it with no problems. My guess is that it is not actually crashing, but your computer might just be having trouble processing everything. Even though it says it has stopped working, let it sit for a while.
If that does not work, try re-installing the tools or verifying integrity of the game cache.
If it still does not work, we will need to know more about your system.

The modbuilder and other such tools don't like any unfamiliar characters. It is always best to leave it in the simplest form of English possible.
I'm working on a Norwegian faction, I changed the pioneers screen name to "ingeniører". Is that the problem?

Well I would have said that the "ø" in "ingeniører" was indeed your issue. However Eliw00d has managed to get it to build so I would be following his advice. His knowledge in this department is much greater than mine.
