That is not historically accurate. Nonetheless playing with Ostheer now is tough. Soviet meta spam (ptrs, t34/85's, IS2) doesn't ruin the game, its the infinite call-ins of these units that do. Ostheer can't keep up with that bs.


Stalin lost records amount of men before destroying an entire German army at stalingrad and nearly did so again at korsun-cherkassy pocket. furthermore at one point there were more Axis soldiers in the beginning in certain zones and almost the same infantry numbers at Kursk. That changed entirely after operation citadel. See the pattern? More, even, less.

You more or less agree with me anyway, how can you not spam with out the ability to call in units indefinitely?

That really depends on your definition of the word spam. Atm it's almost infinite for Soviets which I think is the problem. There should be a limit.

And you should know that towards the end of the war the Allies nearly ran out of men..
