ANY word on future map contests? Could care less about the prize I would feel much better about getting a map in the game.
Is the contest annual?

I don't really put a time stamp on it, I've been thinking about doing it on the right time in COH2's life cycle.

That's cool, I've been working on a map for some time (several months) and I'm kind of a procrastinator
( meaning I do my best work when there's a deadline.) Guess I'll just have to finish it ASAP and wait.

Well I would be lying if I said that you didn't get the ball rolling again. I'm evaluating the good and the bad of the previous contest but I'll need some time to find the right moment and get the right response from Relic

How about the release of the expansion? It can be a free cherry on top for having to pay for a new faction? . Not trying to rush you, just a thought. Probably doesn't give you much time though. ..

Relic should do Map Contests. If the selected map wins then Relic adds it to rotation.

Yeah but then that would rule out COH2.org for having the contest. I think its great that an independent site can have this much pull in the COH 2 community. I just thought it would be a shoe in to convince them to add a community map when they release another cash cow. They didn't even have to develop or market the map.
