So i am working on a map called Voronezh outskirts. Id like you guys to vote what atmosphere you think would be best for this map :)

Bright and sunny brings out all the depth in your textures! I would definitely recommend it.

i would recommend adding some Specular and Gloss to the rainy and dark to give the map a more damp look, and if you and a moon (light blue sun, intensity 0.7-1.0 ) it will help to bring out all the depth in your textures.

Crossing in the woods used as an example.

Interesting, maybe ill do both versions :D But i really think that playing in a sunny map is more enjoyable for the player :)

I vote bright and sunny. I feel we have too many maps that are dark and gritty. Got to remember war is also fought on the best of summer days :)

Also like Monolithic Bacon wrote it brings out the depth.
