prob he quickly changed faction at time where the other guy started searching so commanders havent updated for new faction

happens if you change faction while search is in operation (doesn't have to be done quickly) when it happens you get the commanders of the previous faction you had active iirc. The main problem is that when you pick on of the commanders it derps out meaning you get jack shit. If your Soviets this is a real problem as you cant access any elite inf early game.
This needs fixing really, its a bit of a pain in the ass.
