Question is in topic, a little background:
I'm currently livving in a flat with 4 members, and only got 13.000 kbit/s down- and about 1200 kbit/s upload. Story is, when one of them dls porn and the other watches netflix, i can't play.
Priorisation on the router didn't really solve the main issue.
My only option for faster Internet is the newly introduced combination of DSL+LTE in a router (i live in Germany). Which would more than double the overall dl/ul speed. (no fiber, cable)
Question is, switching from ipv4 to ipv6 is necessary for this.
Can i still use my old analogue telephones if the splitter is no longer neccessary?
Where do i plug the phones into? The router?
Thanks for answering my noob quesitons

The question is also what bitrate can guarantee you your ISP in the agreement? It's generally very different than theoretical bandwidth.
I presume DSL/LTE router need, like a mobile phone, to receive well LTE network. Maybe you have a way to check that.
New product are almost everyone IPv6 compliant but IPv4 is still use everywhere. I think IPv6 isn't for tomorrow.
What is the output of your phone ? Usually phones connects to the router/box with RJ11 cable.
