And the rocket can easily destroy any infantry around your tanks.well this ability is nothing compared to tank hunter anti tank bombing run.also my first post :)

There is an overall problem concernig shooting down planes: You are punished for doing this, as it may fall down on your head, instead of being rewarded. It's mostly the case with strafes but it also affects abilities like stuka close air support and p47, you are only rewarded for scout planes and supply dacota.

Yet I belive that, like irl, there should be a difference between a plane that you send to a place where it gets shot down and a plane that gets back to the airport. The only solution I can think of is making all plane-using abilities more expensive but returning some munitions when the plane comes back out of the map insead of crashing. That way buiding some anti-air defence would have at least some sense and I would be a real counter to heavy munition late game of some factions like usf.

Ofc then okw base defences AA should also be removed or toned down not to make the faction even more overpowered.

and why do they draw these circles when the planes attack out of it? it is obviously a bug when the circle means the attack area and the plane rockets attack and destroy units outside of the circle

A bug is unintended. A poorly explained Mechanic is what that is. Like for example Relic showing a Circle around the FlakHQ when watching a replay. Yet it can take about 10 feet outside that circle. Its meant to do that because they buffed the FlakHQ range. They just didnt update the circle so it doesnt explain it well.

Because its targeting circle.

If plane targeted object in circle, it is locked on it for the following attack, regardless of where you are, otherwise planes would be completely ineffective without area circles being half-of-the-map size.

I love how german fan boys cry and complain about this yet the OKW Schwerer Panzer Headquarters shoot WAY beyond it's circle instantly suppressing infantry and damaging tanks and light vehicles.

For the record the Flak HQ is supposed to shoot that far. Relic increased its range a while back but neglected to increase the circle.

You say that you love how german fan boys cry about this, but there are also as much allied fan boys who cry about the stuka close air support.

one is very counter-able. another has same potency yet uncounter-able.

i only saw p47 ignore area once. if this is actually true, it should be fixed.

I saw this very often. i think both are hard to counter. my stuka was also shot down one time by aaht, before it was able to shoot.

but i agree that it is much easier for OKW since they have flaks in their base
