Mines don't re-cloak

...ever? Witnessed this many times during tourney and games I've played recently. I hope this is a bug and I hope it gets fixed. Please say this isn't an intentional change! Have others noticed this?

haven't noticed this, do you mean when they are revealed by sweepers they don't recloak?

I've noticed this too.
When mines/demos are detected by a minesweeper they stay detected even when the minesweeper moves out of range again.

anyone know how long it's been an issue then? i know it wasn't a problem prior to WFA because i have a memorable moment where i fucked around with a particularly bad demo with RGs.

Still can be detonated if you drive over them thou.

It's like Relic loaded up a build from 2013, tweaked JT stats and then just went ahead and released it. #yolo #agile

Firing arcs, retreat blocking, grenade delays, and now mines? I hope everyone at Relic has happy holidays, but damn if they don't have work to do when they get back to the office.

The mines actually do recloak eventually, however it takes a considerable amount of time. Havn't actually measured but it is in the order of more than 10 minutes.

I think someone at Relic has made the classic mistake of adding to many zeroes on a numerical stat line of code, in this case for mine reveal time.

hahaha just another reason why we don't obey the Geneva convention in CoH. I hope you threw a grenade on them Katitof :)

I havn't experienced that yet, but would be frustrating and would waste a lot of time trying to figure out why they ain't moving.

Relic needs to fix mines so they recloak. They also need to fix demos so that when sweepers light em up, other units can attack-move on the demo and destroy it in a reasonable amount of time.

Yes it sucks, please fix. Please also make it easier to sweep demo charges but that's been asked for since March 2014 by alpha testers.

the problem with sweeping demos is getting close to them, a flag isn't going to help. unless it's a javelin with a flag on the back but that's an art thing.
