Hello,

i am relatively new to the mapmaking and i am playing currently around with SCAR scricting.
i have found alot of usefull scripts allready but i am a little confused, maybe you guys can help me out.

1. When i create a map in WB and save it, the whole package(SGB) will be saved. During the saving
WB creates a "Mapname_ID.SCAR" file inside the Folder.

whenever i save again all the content (That i put in) in the "Mapname_ID.SCAR file" will be
gone again. i can live with that, which means, i should edit the file only, when my map in WB
is completely done. OK

2. alot of the Tipps here in the forums say, that i should create a .SCAR file inside the (SGB)
map folder, where i can put the scripts in. Are these Tipps refering to the Mapname_ID.SCAR file
OR should i create a second SCAR file (Mapname.SCAR) and put all the scripts there ?

Thanks in advance for the help

From my understanding, the current method is to put all custom script in
MapName.SCAR

Using MapName_ID.SCAR was the old method, it still "works", but is not recommended.

Thank you for your answer. Your understanding seems to be correct.
My script works and i still can save the SGB and WB doesn't touch my "Mapname.SCAR" anymore.

Great !!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!
