That is rude and not fair.

I agree, we should be allowed to not list our games in Live viewing, it's could mean top tournament players watching each others games to see their tactics. - Why do you think a lot of Starcraft 2 Pros don't stream/list their replays?

Like in any other online game you are playing on public servers->anybody can spectate, make a custom game with friends if that bothers you.
I don't want to lose the possibility to watch top players play.
Anybody you are playing can save the replay and share it even without observer anyway.

yesterday I was giving a try to that "attrition" mode in a custom game....and while creating the game, in options, I saw a checkbox to indicate if you want others to be able to see your match or not.

Not sure if you can set this checkbox too in automatch....

sorry for my bad english. I hope this helps...

yes it is true, because I do not want to be on my game watched by anyone, if I want to turn on Twitch, my clan broadcasts regularly on Twitch I do not have a problem

well, for people watching the match, is quite better use observer mode than stream....you can move to any place in the map, select any unit and so on in the same way you can do it when watching a replay.

If we only could see, as in SC2 if I´m not wrong, just the same than the guy playing, we could see his micro his clicks and so on.....that´s the only thing I miss with this obs. mode.

But your point is fair IHMO, you should be able to swicht on-off this functionality in automatch in the same way you can do it in custom games....

...Why do you think a lot of Starcraft 2 Pros don't stream/list their replays?

Because they play dozens of games each day, uploading every demo would be rather annoying.
And streaming yourself often reduces focus, so there's that as well.

People should always be able to spectate public games.
It's not like the enemy can't upload the demo anyways, so hiding something fancy isn't possible. But having public spectators increases transparency and possible counter-tactics, besides the learning factor for newbies.

So besides the "i can't pee when you watch" factor, there's no good reason.

You can only disable observer mode in custom games. I think it's best this way because then in 4v4 for example if even one person has disabled observer mode, it's disabled for everyone then and that's not really fair.

I think there's no harm in it anyway. So someone will see you play the game is it so bad?

i hoped they would add this as a feature,

i had an idea make it so that when you disable obs viewers when someone watches your game they can't see you only other player. ofc hackers would love this feature! :D while this idea works for 1v1 it doesn't work for 2v2 and up at all sooo. so with the system they have i don't think its really possible and not really a big deal either.
