With Commander Survivor out of the way, we move onto

FANTASY FACTION

The objective:

To build a faction out of the available units from all factions and commanders

This will not have any off map abilities, only units

Tech structure will be similar to OKH in that it has to be linear; units that will come in as call ins come in as call ins and at the same time as they otherwise would

Units will have the same abilities and inherent upgrades as core, but HQ upgrades will be limited

We will vote on these type by type until we are done.

So, round 1, Builder Units:

Resident Soviet Whiner and Grand Master Bias Jedi; General Secretary of the Soviet Whine Hydra Collective; Axis Hating Sheeple; Allied Butt Buddy! Collect Them All!
Also the African Branch of TAB Bulletins

PS: The Italian Army fought with courage and skill

First voter(me) says pionieer. I never really liked the idea of sturmpioneers actually(builders being action heroes). RE troops are pretty meh and combat engineer is my second choice if I was given it.

I voted combat engineers. Sturmpios are great but with a fantasy faction which presumably has no repair truck nor vehicle crews losing them is a serious blow to your economy. They are also expensive with high reinforce
Combat engineers over pios because of democharge and all around mines.

90 % of the playerbase seem to have found their fantasy faction (OKW) because everyone abuses the kubel

There's only one builder unit that can lay the almighty demo charge, and for that reason I'd pick the combat engineer. good mines are a plus, too

We, I didn't think this would be hard; but I was prepared to be suprised

Though thus far no one at all likes Rear Echelons at all, they might be cheap, but they cannot do anything useful except drop in bunkers and launch grenades and the bunkers they can build are inferior to Axis ones anyway

That extra man really gives them some late game survivability and they can also be upgraded with AI/AT respectively.

Lovely little unit.
