I would say there is a clear lack of options when it comes to create pre-world war II ruins, unless you want a medieval castle ruin, but if you want something smaller like the ruin after an abandoned cottage/croft its not as easy.
It can definitely be done, here's my attempt.
But it requires a ludicrous amount of objects.

Looks pretty good, but why not add some bushes on the foundation.
I think some rubble_debris\beams and ruins\window will also look pretty good with it.
The window_01 looks much better at 50% hp than at 100hp too
