I don't know if it has been mentioned here before, i know it has been mentioned in other parts of the forum, but i'd like to see a sub-forum, maybe next to the mentoring forum, where you can search for teammates.

This would simplify the search for people with the same skill, timezone, language etc. massively!
I think this would be a benefit for many of us and is not hard to be implemented.

What do you think?

Huh. Here I was thinking, if you wanted 2v2 partners, you would have to join a clan...

... like maybe StC... I dunno, pure speculation here.

This is not mainly about me, I'm fine with my 2v2 partner(s).
But when I didn't have a clan, I didn't know where to search for a partner besides clans.

Most people who try and find 2v2 partners through the forums do it through the lobby. Let me tell you though: It's not generally very successful.

I'd recommend actually playing 2v2 randoms. Although playing with randoms can be one of the most frustrating experiences in the world, you only need to play it until you find a good 2v2 partner. When you notice someone you're playing with in a 2v2 game is really good, friend request him and then hit it off from there.

Alternatively, finding 2v2 AT partners easily is what clans are for.

I get your point, but there are people who don't like the idea of clans.
As you said, playing 2v2 random can be very frustrating. So why not fast forward to find a suitable partner quickly?

Opening a sub-forum is not much work. If it doesn't work out, e.g people aren't using it, simply close it again.

I really like that idea. Randoms can be great or they can be terrible, hence random. At least with a forum you could find someone who speaks the same language and plays around the same times.

I like this idea...I did float it elsewhere, with some limited support

All I can suggest is,if you wish to highlight the point, maybe start a poll?
