I wanted to take part but i cant because some questions dont have the answer i want to give so:
1) Soviet
2)I love them both!
3) Fom more than 3 Years
4) 31-40
5)1 dislike DLC
6)I like it but it has major flaws! Give commanders to everybody with rank. Dont leave it to RNG.
7)Europe
8) 1v1 and 2v2, but i like the others too.
9)I prefer casual/ relaxed games vs humans but i also play with AI.

the poll might not be perfect since i havent thought about if for long, and once posted i fail to edit it.
it might have been best to give a "i cant tell / i dont know" option to some questions,
but since it not in the poll in its current form: to participate one just has to pick the answer which he feels fits best in the moment.

Like the poll notice how must thins at least so far go against what we see constantly and frantically being blurted out in the forums. In forums you will see coh one so much better then 2 but most votes here favor coh 2. Forums dlc sucks war spoils sucks. Poll shows majority like it.

my answers:
1) Oberkommando - been only using them for a couple of days now but for now i like how they play
2) i still go with COH1 but with the changes to COH2 over the last year and the additional 2 armies it is getting closer.
3) i already played in the coh1 beta over 6 years ago.
4) 39 years
5) i welcome additional content for the game. tiger ace was silly though.
6) i feel totally indifferent about the matter .
7) berlin
8) 1v1
9) ladder games for me

Looks like a typical case of the overly vocal minority.

Haha all my votes seem to lie in the majority. Except for my region. (I'm from Pakistan)
Good to see people supporting COH2 more than COH1 now. I myself used to prefer COH1 over COH2 3-4 months ago, but recent patches, WFA have really changed my perception and I really enjoy COH2 now.

I was since early days coh1 and while slightly disapointed at launch probably mute due to unrealistic expectations more then anytHing have still always firmly believed coh 2 is an improvement and has much more potential depth then coh 1

some surprising outcomes
i would not have thought that oberkommando was so popular given how different it is from the other factions.
also noticeable the amount of votes in favor of DLC. browsing this forum over the last year i was under the impression that most people here hate it with passion.

I suppose that is was because of DLC such as Elite Troops and Soviet Industry which were outright Pay2Win at release. They seemed to be fixed now.

I am impressed very good pole. though it could have done with a few more options on some questions. or a few more poles to divide up some of the questions.

another remarkable thing you can read out of this poll:
i guess when i started the poll, i would have expected that at least 50% of the people would say that they have played for less than a year.
if i knew how many have been playing for over 3 years i would have added another option "i have played since the start of coh1 2006".
But as of this time, out of 103 votes only 6 said that they have not played coh1 while 87% claimed that they have been playing the series for over a year.
surely coh2.org is the place for the more experienced players - but still, those are extreme numbers.
it has often been said that the marketing for the game is not that good.
and this data seems to back this claim up.
nearly no completly new players (and that is within a rather young player base) got on board since the release of coh2.
