Private Jameson wiped the dirt of him as he crawled out of the ditch he'd been taking cover in.
"Goddamnit Jameson. Get moving ! We need to take out that Kraut MG nest !"
Jameson started to move but found his legs unwilling to propel him forwards. And as he looked down, he saw the reason. His stomach was riddled with bullets and he was bleeding out. And with that all turned black.

With Elements of the 12th SS surroundred. A combined task force from the 8th infantry and 3rd Armoured Division prepares to finish off the job. But as the assault is under way the Panzer lehr attacks in an attempt to relieve their surrounded comrades.

The situation was growing dire for Captain Pettigrew. The assault had stalled and the huns were growing bolder as they were trying to find a weakspot in the formation.
"Where the hell are those infernal tanks ? They were supposed to have been here 30 minutes ago"
Lieutenant Evans had no answer. Battalion had been reluctant to answer for the past 20 minutes.
"For heavens sake. How are they expecting us to win this war ?"

The men of the Kampfgruppe weber were cut off from the German frontline. A quick british assault had collapsed it and while the Kamfpgruppe was busy holding up the 11th Armoured. The guards armoured rushed behind them
Now there was only one way. And that was through the Guards Armoured Division

Frenzied calls were made. The frontline was in panic. The 107th Panzer Brigade had managed to push through and was currently hitting the rear lines threatening a total collapse as Infantry Divisions were following in the wake of the brigade.
The 2nd Armoured Division was swifly called in to deal with the armoured menace.

The 2nd SS Panzer Division had been on the defensive for days now. An Infantry Division was on the way to relieve them. But allied air raids on the railways kept delaying them. And as every day passed. So did the allies grow ever bolder.
Since the 2nd SS were hardly getting any replacements for their losses.

Hans and his team set up the MG42 in the window on the first floor of the restaurant.
"Bring up as many belts of ammunition as you can get from Company. This is a good position and i want to be able to hold it for as long as possible !" Sergeant Heinz Grüber explained.
"When the American come through here. They'll get a nasty surprise, get focused on us. And then forget about the other squads on the flanks approaching. So let's be sure to give them a warm welcome"

The advance in the alsace Lorraine region had slowed down as German resistance had toughened. A single Kampfgruppe was singled out as the source of the problem and the 3rd were tasked with knocking it out. Full support provided for the mission

A sudden surprise offensive caught the German army off-guard resulting in a sweeping retreat. The 3rd Armoured Pushed ahead across open terrain seizing prisoners and equipment as it went until it finally met organized resistance in the form of a sperrverbande.

In an attempt to help the beleagured GIs caught behind german lines, the 2nd armoured and Guards armoured Divisions join up in an attempt to break through. But the Windhund Panzer Division is on watch and ready to halt any allied assaults

Colonel Petrov had specific orders to seize the village up ahead. Failure to capture it could be catastrophic for the next stage of the offensive. Tanks and Penal troops were put into his control. With more to come if he needed them. But the village had to be taken by nightfall. Or else.

Heinz Sprinted as fast as he could back the way he came. His squad had been annihilated when it walked into a heavily equipped American patrol.
He needed to get word to headquarters that the Americans were closer than they had figured. If not. Things could get dire.

The Germans had been frustrating the allied advance for several days now. Counter-attacking left and right. In an attempt to break the centre piece of the defence. The british were enlisted as well in an all out assault.
This time they would get rid of the Germans.

It had taken a lot of Cajoling. But Obersturmbannführer had managed it ! He'd gotten permission and supplies to pull off an assault against the 2nd Armoured Divison encamped at a small village ahead.
He'd had to make a lot of promises. Some hollow. But he knew he could do it and drive back the allies !
But would the support he needed actually be there ?

Phones were ringing as reports were flooding in. The Americans were on the attack and every sector the 85th was defending was doing it's best to repel the 4th Infantry Division. Reinforced were promised but there was no timeline for their arrival.
Major General Volker decided to focus the defences around a small village and hope that would be enough to stall the enemy.
