Yea I loaded up a custom game and there is no difference in the squad whipes once in range.

In my opinion range nerf of ISU and Ele is overall an ISU Buff and an Ele Nerf, because ISU is good against Infantry and armor and Elefant is just good against armor. Although Spotting Scope isnt that useful anymore.

Soviet tanks didn t look much better when they got destroyed.The photo about the destroyed panther is nothing Special compared to other photos.
The first photo isnt ISU 152 but SU 152
And that third IS 2 was destroyed by Tiger II from short distance by three shots between turret and hull.

Yes, after the shot had to be corrected, what 122mm D-25T gun was oblique - a blatant lie, D-25T gun excellent and good optics with greater magnification than a tiger complement gun. The biggest problem is reload. Therefore, Soviet soldiers tried to destroy enemy tanks with one shot. Tiger crews were forbidden to engage in a duel with the tank IS-2. But this does not negate the fact that you can destroy any tank, no matter how perfect it is.

Permanently BannedStill waiting for a fix on this unit. Katyusha is horrible, but the ISU152 has been incredibly horrible for months now.
The fact that it one-shots all infantry based units has to be fixed. Period. In a game where unit preservation and veterancy are key to victory a unit that just vaporizes every infantry squad out of nowhere (yes the range decrease made it less horrible) has no place.

The elephant was terrible and not balanced throughout the year, and you are complaining about the ISU-152. ISU-152 was the only thing that stopped the stupid spammers, but now ISU-152 is not worth their investment more profitable to build two Katyusha rockets.

Yeah...compare the Elefant (which has never been OP, because of the simple fact that it can only deal with one kind of unit) to the ISU, which can handle every kind of unit.
Its not only worth its investment, there simply isnt a reason not to get it because it will have paid itself after firing ~5 shots.
The ISU got a nerf, but at the same time its only counters (elefant and Jagdtiger) got nerfed too. The only thing that happened, that it is more prone to flanks, and thats a good thing. However, the main issue still exists. If an ISU hits the field you HAVE TO engage it asap. You have to throw in all your units (even if it is well supported) or it will pick you off one by one over time.
The elefant can be ignored until you take out its support, you cant do that with the ISU.

I've used it in 1v1 a few times and I hardly see it get squad wipes. It's a good general purpose assault gun (as the AT is quite good too) if it's protected, but I rarely see it destroying armies.
I don't play team games, so is it that much more dangerous in 2v2 and up?

Not really.
Just had a 2v2 where opponents did exactly what you describe, we were pretty desperate to end it as they had just 3 VPs, but us blob and pair of ISU was nearing critical mass, so I just went 2 puma YOLO rush, AT guns couldn't keep, infantry couldn't keep up, got ISU, got priest and saved one puma on sliver of health.
There are ways around everything.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

In theory flanks should be a great counter to the isu, in reality few players are too stupid not to support their ISU properly. At least at rank 1000 and below
