I'd be interested to see what the community thinks the most interesting front(major)during WW2. Granted I'll leave out a few so if your favorite front was southern france 1944 then lulz to you.

Eastern obviously.
No other front had battles on such scale with such desperation on both sides.

Eastern front by miles.

The most interesting part of the Eastern front to me is 1942-1943.

1942 is growing pains for the Red Army, and then sheer exhaustion for the Wehrmacht.

Winter 1943 is when both sides were literally matched in operational capabilities. Operation Gallop/Star end in Axis victory by literally a hair. Mid 1943 is when the Wehr finally gets outclassed and then sees its back getting broken.

1941 and 1944-1945 is too 'one sided' for me. The Soviets get caught with their pants down in 1941 and only come back after they beat Typhoon.

1944-1945 is mostly uninterrupted soviet operational and strategic victories. Pretty one sided.
