The R4M Rocket was an unguided missile that was fired in salvos from about 600 metres. One hit was sufficient to bring down a bomber.

Another good WW2 series in colour , with just narration and footage , Apocalypse: The Second World War - 1/6 - Aggression (1933--1939) , HQ .

IMHO this serie is bad, they focused too much on the battle of france and they overpassed the eastern front, they mentioned only Barbarossa (6 seconds), some of Stalingrad and magically the soviets after two years, only god knows how, they reached Berlin ... it doesn't even mention the word "Kursk".

its just the 1st episode , you saw the others ?

it skips operation market garden, too.

just way too short. but its got good footage and that alone makes it nice.

My favourite war documentary. It's a massive 20 some parts which covers each theater of the war and most major campaigns including a lot of socio-political and economic commentary. It really is an incredible piece of work.

Apologies if this is classified as sharing warez, or anything of that sort.
