The League of Heroes is a team event that starts 18.06.2015.
8 teams will be invited and inserted ahead of an open qualifying group stage. 8 teams from 32 go to the League of Heroes through the qualifying stages (single elimination matchset).
The 8 invited teams and 8 emerged from the qualifying round (16 teams total) will play in League of heroes.



The qualifying stage will be held on 29.06.2015 on 19.07.2015 . 8 teams won in the qualifying round gets to 8 invited teams (16 teams total) and will play in League of heroes 20.07.2015 to 09.08.2015. Eliminated in group stage of League of heroes. There will be 4 groups of each group qualify 2 teams. Only 8 teams will play in the play offs stage with 10.08.2015 on 23.08.2015 for the title of best team of the League.

Important dates:


The qualifying stage:
29.06.2015 -- 19.07.2015.


League of Heroes Group Stage:
20.07.2015 -- 09.08.2015.


Playoff Stage:
10.08.2015 -- 23.08.2015.


Point scoring system:


Points are awarded to the winning team of each match as follows:

1v1 - 2 points
2v2 - 2 points
3v3 - 3 points
4v4 - 4 points

In addition to the team's score, players participating in any match that their team wins will add personal points to their score for a chance to be crowned the best player of the league.

Points awarded to each player of the team are as follows:

1v1 - 2 points
2v2 - 1 points
3v3 - 1 points
4v4 - 1 points


Rules:


1.0 A player may only compete for one team.
1.1 Each game must be played by players on a teams roster.
1.2 Anyone may participate in the league so long as their team can field a minimum of 4 players, up to a maximum of 15 people.
1.3 Each team requires a captain and must represent a country. Players may be of different nationalities but will play under a single nationality.
1.4 Each captain is required to join the “League of Heroes” steam group.
1.5. All matches will be played adhering to a schedule prepared in advance at a fixed time and day. The schedule will also indicate: which team, what maps, what factions and commanders are chosen.
1.6 Each team will be inserted randomly into their group.
1.7 Each team plays within the group. The team with the greatest number of points will advance from their respective group.
1.8 Matches are formatted to include multiple games between the teams: two 1vs1’s, two 2vs2’s, one 3vs3 and one 4vs4.

Game Mode/Map Specific Rules:


2.1 Each game must be played players from the team.
2.2 Maps are predetermined by the organizers and posted to the schedule.
2.3 Factions change after the first game according to the schedule.
2.4 The captain must appoint the player which will represent their team in advance.
2.5 A team which cannot play their match will be forfeited and their opponents will receive maximum points.
2.6 The commander pool will be determined in advance, defined by the organizers of league and indicated in the schedule in advance.
2.7 The game lobby will be created via the steam group no later than 15 minutes prior to a match.
2.8 A match may only be delayed for 15 minutes. After which point the team causing the delay will automatically forfeit that match of the set.
2.9 In the event of technical problems out of the parties control, administrators reserve the right to postpone a match to a later time or a different day.
2.10 In the event of an in-game drop, the match will continue shorthanded or a forfeit loss will be conferred to the dropping team.
2.11 The administrators of the tournament reserve the right to postpone tournament matches, and will notify the participants of the match beforehand.

Deliberate abuse of anything deemed to be a bug or exploits of the game by the tournament organizers will not be tolerated.

Players and teams found in breach of this rule will be adjudged forfeitures at the discretion of the organizers.

Specific 1v1 rules:

3.1 A new player must play the second game of the set.

Specific 2v2 rules:

4.1 A new pair must play the second game of the set.

Specific 3v3 rules:

5.1 Captains choose which commanders will be available for their team. Only 1 commander for each player will be assigned and may not be assigned to multiple players.
6.2 The winner of the match will be awarded three points.

Specific 4v4 rules:

7.1 The winning team will be awarded four points.

Prize Pool and Rewards:


The League of Heroes prize pool begins at 500 US dollars, but anyone will be able to donate directly to the prize pool (at a link to be added in the future) and will be divided as follows:

First place will be awarded 40%
Second place will be awarded 30%
Third place will be awarded 20%
Fourth place will be awarded 10%

Prizes will be awarded not only to the best teams, but also the best player of a tournament.


Refereeing, and disputes:


All disputed issues, and controversies will be adjudicated by tournament organizers.


Registration:


Please post the following to the corresponding sign-up thread in the Events Central forum if you wish to sign up and compete:

1. The team name.
2. Team nationality.
3. Player names and Steam ID's (a minimum of four players).
4. The team logo if available (if there is, indicate the download link).
5. The team captain (specify the username and steam ID).
