Star Crossed Kings 3

Patch date confirmed! On June 23, COH2 will receive a mysterious new patch. That leaves just enough time for another stint of Star Crossed Kings!



A defending king must play at least two series starting every day at 18:00 UTC (2PM EDT, 7PM CET) except Mondays. The last day of the tournament will be June 21.



To challenge the current king, go to Romeo's stream at the scheduled time. Challengers are selected randomly from stream chat using a moobot raffle. The only rules about who can sign up are:

• If you win the raffle, you may give your slot to another player that entered the raffle instead.
  
• No player may challenge the same king twice in a row in a given week of SCK.
  
• No player may challenge a king that dethroned him in that week of SCK.

• Best of 3
  

The King plays as axis in game 1 and allies in game 2.

• Game 1: Challenger declares Soviets or USF, then King declares Ostheer or OKW.
  
• Game 2: Challenger declares Ostheer or OKW, then King declares Soviets or USF.
  
• Game 3: VP Leader declares Ost/Sov/OKW/USF, then VP Loser declares.
  

Allies are always in position 1. On 4 player maps, both players may take the spawn closer to the battlefield.



Every round will take place on one map. The maps will be cycled through in the following order:

• Angoville
  
• Semoskiy Winter
  
• Crossing in the Woods
  
• Kholodny Ferma Summer
  
• Minsk Pocket
  
• Einhoven Country
  
• Semoskiy
  
• Faymonville Approach
  
• La Gleize Breakout
  
• Stalingrad
  

- All commanders and bulletins are allowed.
- USF going over pop cap is allowed.
- OKW truck pushing is allowed.
- Tank trap, sandbag, and wire ghosting is allowed.

There are two prizes for this edition of SCK.

• DOMINATION: $100 for the King with the longest reign
  
• COCO JAMBO: $50 for the player with the best/most creative non-meta victory
  

The objective is to remain King for as long as possible. Since the King must play two rounds every day, it won't be easy! The King has these options at the end of every day:

• Continue defending the throne the next day as normal
  
• Give the throne to someone else
  
• Forfeit and give the throne to nobody
