meh: All I said was that they were pushing the rules to the limit and challenging the status quo. In order to do that you need to know the rules very well and know how to manipulate things in order to gain an edge or an advantage.

Basilone: the only known cheating the Patriots have done was spying on defensive signals and probably half the teams in the league did it and got away with it. People need to get over it

Basilone: It was within the rules of the game at the time. Trick plays are legal and if they change the rules later it doesnt mean they were cheating back when it was allowed to do that.
