It is actually the best choice of the two. I have been using it a great deal lately.

Most guides from the Western Fronts release need huge revamps. I am considering a rework for this one.

The guide is under construction right now with the update.

I apologize for those of you who wanted to reference it in the meantime.

Fantastic guide! Shame there's a possible LEIG nerf inbound :/ never the less I think this strategy will still be good

Thanks for the guide, I just have one correction: The damage profile for centuars is no longer bugged. Garrisoning is now an effective way to outmatch a centuar.

Thanks! Good catch. I edited out the relevant bit.

Not sure if the section is super relevant. British players still tend to lean on a quick armor piece to create space for the rest of their army so it seems relevant still.

I've not seen the new flame-tanks in action much so I can't really speak to that either.

The mid-game seems a little weaker without the crazy OP power of the LIEG but honestly the LEIG is still good at turning battles for your troops. It just takes a little more time.

There is a little extra pressure to get your tech units such as Obersoldaten out faster but otherwise it plays much the same.

I still even pick up the second LEIG occasionally depending on the enemy's strategy.

I know this an old guide, but I just wanted to say, I think it is written and structured beautifully. Thanks for sharing :)

nice guide! It's been a few years since the last update, I'm just wondering if the Infrared StG44 upgrade is still worth it for Obers?

Outdated badly. You can't even purchase a Luchs from that building anymore. Why am I even on this site if even the newest guide is out of date...
